Kountry Living Bed & Breakfast

Consider this a warm invitation from Chris and Jon to stay at our home to get away from it all. We are located in the leather-stocking region where one can capture the charm of our federal style house in a way that will take you back to yesteryear – when a weekend a away meant leisurely drives through quaint villages.

Immaculately kept, the warm ambiance of our 140 year-old house creates a gratifying experience that will allow any guest to feel at home. Our rooms are cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with country furnishings that are accented with family heirlooms. Once named “Kenjochety”(a home out of the Multitude), our house was built in 1868 amidst 260+ acres. The estate functioned as an active dairy farm up until the late 1940’s. The property encompassed land on both sides of the road from the Delaware line behind us and up to the Susquehanna River. 

All rooms have cable color TV’s (some with DVD players), high-speed WiFi Internet access and extra coffee makers that are available to those who need them. We encourage everyone to make themselves at home and relax with a movie in the living room, enjoy a fire while nestled up on the sofa. Feel free to lounge on our "Yankee" themed landing with a game of chess, or you can just take in the relaxing sounds of our babbling brook and many visiting birds while kicking back on the screened-in porch with nearby barbecue.

Here at Kountry Living Bed & Breakfast we offer a variety of rooms suited to fit any guest’s needs - those families, a couples romantic get-away, or bring the hole family

Our home features the “Charles Suite” with a pillow top king-size bed, located on the first floor and has a private bathroom with sit down shower.

We also have three other spacious yet quaint rooms located on the second- floor off the landing. The "Sadie room" has a king-sized bed; the "Rudy room" has a queen-sized bed; and the "Cody room" has two-twin sized beds for versatility. These three rooms all share two modernized vintage style full baths that offer an assorted of amenities in case you left something behind.

Included with your stay is a full breakfast each morning, and it is served anytime you wish between the hours of 6:30 am and 10:30 am. Offered, is our inclusive breakfast menu that is sure to fit anyone’s taste. With our signature ‘ Stuffed French Toast’, Stuffed Crepes, Eggs Benedict, Egg Strata, Huevos Rancheros, and anything else you can dream up-it is a breakfast not to be missed! All dishes are made with only the finest ingredients from our local vendors. And during off-meal periods, a guest will always have access to our quaint kitchen and its utilities.

It’s our goal to provide you with a warm, comfortable, and memorable experience. We believe that our house is your house during your stay because we do not consider you a costumer in our establishment, but rather a “guest in our home”.
